Make your own Bath Bombs!

Make your own Bath Bombs!

If you need a break, treat yourself to these Bath Bomb DIY Molds next time you place and order with us and make your own.  They are super fast to make and so inexpensive.  I love giving them to friends wrapped up in tissue and boxed.  They look so nice in jars your bath area as well!  They smell amazing when you add the essential oils!  I did this batch with citrus oils as I love the crisp clean smell.  As you can tell, I am lovin' these right now!  The molds are sold in sets.
One mold set is all you need and you can use them over and over again.
Here's how I made mine....most everything you will need is likely already in your home.  I think it is the first time I have ever used my cornstarch!   The only thing I needed to get was citric acid which is at most grocery stores.
You will need....
Baking Soda
Corn Starch
Epsom Salts
Citric Acid
Coconut Oil
Essential Oil - Your  choice of scent
Food Coloring - Optional
When you are ready get out a measuring cup and spoons and your molds.  You will also need a mixing bowl.
First, pour these dry ingredients into a bowl.. 1 cup Baking Soda, 1/2 cup Corn Starch & 1/2 cup Epsom Salts.
Then using a jar measure out 4 tablespoons of coconut oil, place in the jar and melt in microwave a few seconds to liquefy.
Then add in 15 drops of essential oil, and a few drops of the food coloring of your choice into the coconut oil if you would like to add color.   Then shake up the mixture in the jar to blend.
Next gradually mix the coconut oil mixture into the dry ingredients... Once you have it all mixed in and the color is as you would like you can add the last ingredient citric acid and fully mix.
Now using the mold set gather and press the mixture into the molds to press into sphere shapes.  I like to use different sizes and color batches as they look nice in jars when they are displayed.
Next line a tray with parchment paper and gently place the bath bombs on the tray.  Let them dry, untouched for at least 3 days.  If you handle them too early they will fall apart.

Enjoy in your bath or spa!
